The results are in!
In 2014, we featured more than 50 quotes aimed at bringing you a little extra motivation and inspiration. At the start of 2015, we selected a shortlist of quotes and asked for you to choose your favourite. The results are now in!
- “Failure is only the opportunity to begin again, only this time more wisely.” Henry Ford (43%)
- “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling but in rising every time we fall.” Nelson Mandela (36%)
- “The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it but that it is too low and we reach it.” Michelangelo (14%)
- “A pessimist see the problem in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every problem.” Winston Churchill (7%)
- “The best way to make dreams come true is to wake up.” Mae Jemison (0%)
The winner therefore, with nearly half of the votes, was Henry Ford. His quote about failure being the opportunity to begin again just beat a quote from Nelson Mandela regarding the greatest glory in living.
