Job Title: Assistant Accountant – Accounts Receivables
Includes jobs that are responsible for effective- and efficient finance operations (transaction processing, accounting & reporting), process governance and financial- & IS compliance. Finance operations include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, management-, statutory- and tax reporting, country corporate finance- and treasury matters. A key element is continuous improvement and a sustained delivery of high quality, cost effective service, which is scalable for both organic- and acquisitive growth. A large part of the service will be delivered through a third party (BPO)


  • Requires developed specialized skills, or a breadth of skills, through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
  • Requires formal qualification/vocational training
  • Provides informal guidance and support to other team members or serves as lead for a team

  • Has developed breadth and/or depth of skills in a range of processes, procedures and systems, or acts as the technical expert in an area
  • Serves as team leader (employees at Work Levels 2A, 2B, 1A and/or 1B), may allocate work; provides subject matter guidance to other team members
  • Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyses information and standard practices to make judgments
  • Customer account reconciliations
  • Posting and allocating customer payments
  • Reconciliation of cash sales to cash deposits
  • Customer payment follow up
  • Managing customer profile in designated regions
  • Stakeholder management
  • Customer visitations



Experience required
  • 1 year experience in a Finance position. A bias to accounts receivable will be an added advantage
Critical knowledge
  • High school diploma or equivalent part qualified accountant (ACCAII, CIMAII, ZICAII)
