Bakery Supervisor will direct and coordinate activities involved with production, sales, marketing and distribution of bakery products. He / She will also determine variety and quantity of bakery products to be produced at a given time.
Duties and Responsibilities;
- Handling all ordering of products for sale for Deli and Baker
- Coordinating with Store Managers to ensure success of the store and to provide quality customer service.
- Supervising and motivating bakery staff
- Managing inventory of bakery merchandise.
- Responsible for the recruitment of bakery staff and personnel.
- Orienting, selecting and training employees; and developing personal growth opportunities in them
- Ensuring optimum operation of equipment by evaluating new equipment and calling for repairs of old ones
- Provide manufacturing information by sorting, initiating, compiling, and analyzing production performance data and records
- Educate and direct employees on the use of bakery equipment
- Overseeing packaging of bakery products
- Managing relations with retailers /supermarkets
- Monitoring of sanitization of bakery equipment on a regular basis according to company guidelines.
- Ensuring that health and safety procedures/policies are followed at all time
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Production/ Technical or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar capacity
- Must have experience in managing and leading people in a Bakery / Production environment
- English Communications Skills
- Computer literacy essential
- A team player
