Reporting to: Business Development Manager

Purpose of Job:

To provide marketing and public relations services to the Centre so as to facilitate sustained student enrolment growth and positive image of the Centre.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assisting in promoting the image of ZCAS through proper and innovative branding of the Centre
  • Assisting in effectively developing marketing policies, objectives, strategies to market ZCAS and ZCAS U products and services to prospective clients.
  • Assisting in the formulation of long term marketing plans, conduct marketing research to assess market demands, customer awareness and compiles market intelligent reports on quarterly basis.
  • Assisting in managing advertising contacts with both electronic and print media to ensure compliance with ZCAS standards
  • Performing public relations and publicity activities and attend to customer queries.
  • Planning and coordinating school visitation activities.
  • Maintaining a data base for all ZCAS graduates.
  • Assisting in identifying potential business opportunities from collective capabilities of staff and the institution for approval by the Executive Director/Vice Chancellor.
  • Developing and marketing new products/services to target the market through use of the most appropriate techniques.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate with five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics.
  • Professional Diploma/ Degree in Marketing.
  • A post graduate degree in a business related field is an added advantage
  • Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience in an institution of higher learning.
  • Member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing
