IMPACT MANAGER

To multiply educational opportunities for girls and other vulnerable children by supporting the implementation of a strong programme that fully addresses children’s rights and needs and engages their communities. Under the direction of the National Director, the Impact Manager would be responsible for the cohesive coordination of the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of CAMFEDs programmes. Specifically, the Impact Manager will be responsible for providing strategic support to the CAMFED Zambia Impact team, ensuring the timely and quality delivery of programme targets.

Key Duties & Responsbilities:

  • Provide strategic support to the CAMFED Zambia impact team to deliver on key objectives
  • Support Impact team to ensure donor compliance , while supporting them to address compliance issues
  • Identifying strategies to ensure quality control over the delivery of programmes
  • Provide support to the National Director towards the strategic management of the organisation
  • Support the development of donor proposal and reports
  • Provide professional oversight of data gathering and analysis for CAMFED Zambia
  • Ensure quality consolidation of programme data on a regular basis
  • Conduct regular analysis of data per programme requirements
  • Identify trends and variances in the programme and advise relevant programme staff
  • Support the development of external reports and communications of CAMFED’s work
  • Manage the Impact team budget for CAMFED Zambia
  • Manage and actively participate in research studies
  • Scan development literature to identify reports, studies and databases relevant to CAMFED’s
  • Train and supervise MOE partners consistent with programme requirements
  • Oversee the documentation of programme success stories and good practices

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Commitment and passion for CAMFED’s values, mission and vision
  • A Masters degree or equivalent is an advantage
  • Solid knowledge of education systems
  • Proven experience in M&E, preferably in an NGO
  • Strong logical and analytical skills including excellent Excel and database skills
  • Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative information and present it effectively for a variety of donor audiences
  • An eye for detail with a flexible, proactive approach to work
  • Commitment to, and sensitivity for the issues affecting disadvantaged rural women
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Fluent spoken and written English
    Experience in working at management level and managing teams
