It democratizes technology by giving entry to technology and connectivity to consumers without prior access to it. Therefore, Itel BU wishes to invited qualified candidates to fill in the following positions of Digital Marketing Specialist X1, Public Relations Officer X1 and BTL Marketing Specialist X1 to be based in Lusaka.

Below are the requirements and duties required for each position;

Qualifications and Experience Digital Marketing Specialist X1.

Candidates who wish to apply for the mentioned position should have the following requirements;

  • Analyze digital data to draw key recommendations around website optimization
  • Conduct social media audits to ensure best practices are being used
  • Maintain digital dashboard of several different accounts
  • Coordinate with sales team to create marketing campaigns
  • Prepare emails to send out to customers
  • Monitor key online marketing metrics to track success
  • Create and maintain online listings across e-commerce platforms
  • Ensure that the brand message is consistent

Qualifications for Digital Marketing

  • 2+ Years of Experience in Digital Marketing
  • Experience executing paid social media campaigns
  • Diploma in marketing or business. Degree will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of video and picture editing software such as Adobe
  • Must be able to juggle multiple projects at the same time
  • Incredible attention to detail
  • Full understanding of all social media platforms
  • Problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of content management systems

Qualifications and Experience Public Relations Officer X1.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to requests for information release or press conference from the media or designating a spokesperson.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with consumer, community, employee, and public interest groups.
  • Writing press releases and other media communications to promote clients.
  • Planning or directing the development of programs to maintain favorable public and stockholder views of the organization’s agenda and accomplishments.
  • Coaching client representatives in effective communication with the public and employees.
  • Studying the organization’s objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products, ideas, and services.
  • Preparing and editing organizational publications, including employee newsletters or stockholders’ reports, for internal and external audiences.
  • Updating and maintaining Web content.
  • Conferring with managers to identify trends and group interests and providing advice on business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in journalism, PR, marketing or related field. A degree is an added advantage
  • Experience handling a press conference.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to pitch to media.
  • Knowledge of consumer marketing.
  • An ability to work on big strategy plans as well as day-to-day tasks.
  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically.
  • Ability to run PR campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet objectives.
  • Deadline-oriented, inquisitive, with great follow-up and reporting skills.
  • Creativity in securing coverage and buzz with traditional outlets.
  • Understanding of social media and solid experience working with bloggers.
  • Project and budget management skills.
  • Responds well under pressure with strict time limit.
  • Quick and enthusiastic learner.

Qualifications and BTL Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Performing in-house, competitor, and consumer analyses to shape new undertakings.
  • Devising and coordinating intangible and experiential marketing endeavors.
  • Teaming with pertinent internal stakeholders to roll out seamless, effective campaigns.
  • Boosting our presence by harnessing paid and organic formulas.
  • Building sustained, profitable ties with our customers.
  • Analyzing metrics at strategic moments to ascertain successes.
  • Compiling informed reports to guide all marketing-related efforts.
  • Partaking in marketing workshops to enlarge your skill set.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in a marketing-centered discipline.
  • Recent, demonstrable experience in a marketing-intensive post.
  • Capacity to interpret marketing-related metrics.
  • Ability to configure organic and paid formulas.
  • Superb research, presentation, and bargaining skills.
  • Refined and modifiable written communication abilities.
  • Insightful, pragmatic, and imaginative.
