Jhpiego

Jhpiego seeks candidates for the following positions for an upcoming HIV program funded by the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to provide technical assistance (TA) for all aspects of HIV service delivery in specific Provinces in Zambia. The project will support Zambia’s national goals of attaining 95-95-95 and other HIV-related targets. The project will provide TA through training, mentorship, advice, and direct support to staff at the provincial, district, facility, and community levels to enable them to undertake and implement evidence-based activities. This will be done in collaboration with other partners in the implementation of HIV/AIDS/TB programs. The project will provide technical support to existing and potentially new HIV service delivery points to ensure quality patient care for optimal patient level outcomes in an effort to meet National and PEPFAR goals and targets. The scope of work will include HIV prevention, treatment, laboratory, and clinical monitoring, and adherence support and retention for all HIV populations, including key and priority populations (KP/PP) in Zambia.

These positions are contingent upon award from CDC.

Project Director

The Project Director is responsible for providing leadership and overall strategic direction, and ensuring the technical and programmatic integrity of the TA project, working in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MOH) at both the national and provincial levels, CDC, and other PEPFAR implementing partner delivering HIV/AIDS/TB services. .. S/he will provide leadership in managing relationships with MOH counterparts, development of annual work plans and budgets, and ensuring project activities align with project, MOH, PEPFAR, and CDC strategies. The project will work across HIV prevention, treatment, laboratory, clinical monitoring, and adherence support and retention for all populations at-risk-of and living with HIV, including key and priority populations (KP/PP). The Project Director represents Jhpiego to donors and partners, supervises technical advisors and project management staff, and reports to the Jhpiego Country Director.
