We are inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:
TECHNICAL MANAGER
CONTRACT: PERMANENT
Reporting to the Engineering Executive, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following: –
- Leading product innovation and development, implementation of systems, procedures and standards, and coordination of technical audits to promote best practices in brewing processes.
- Leading implementation of food safety and quality standards.
- Facilitating problem solving and decision making to continually improve brewing processes and product quality.
- Promote safe, healthy and risk-free working environment.
- Liaison with key raw material suppliers for ongoing conformance to quality specifications.
- Coordinate development of key technical skills
This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate with minimum of six credits
- BSc. Degree in Food Science/Biochemistry, Certificate in Opaque Beer Brewing will be an added advantage
- Trustworthy, meticulous and analytical
- Diligent team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Good self-management practices and leadership skills
- Vigilant and hygiene conscious
