The Role

The purpose of this role is:

To develop training materials as well as offering actual training which is adapted and integrated with technical training to ensure profitability, quality and customer directed service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, introduce, implement and follow up training programs that are in line with the Sandvik Central Africa strategy
  • Develop and produce training materials for technical competence development
  • Conduct internal and external product and application training
  • Offer basic product and technical training in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines
  • Support on-sit product and application training and demonstration
  • Responsible for training programs with focus on technical training
  • Along with team members, ensure that all technical training follows Sandvik standards and certification

Your profile 

  • Degree/Diploma in relevant field
  • Diploma in Education/Training
  • Minimum of 5 years’ technical background or training experience with mining industry concepts
  • Computer literate with proven Computer skills
  • 5 years’ experience with Sandvik equipment
  • Fitness for underground and surface mines (Silicosis Certification)
  • Experience in technical support
  • EIZ Membership
