FQM
Key Responsibilities
This position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.
- Work with kitchen staff to process and expedite food delivery
- Up-sell when appropriate
- Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
- Use established food handling and serving techniques
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
- Check products for quality
- Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
- Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned to him/her by the supervisor from time to time.
Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12 Certificate
- Certificate in Food Production/Catering
- Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards
Experience
- Three (3) years similar working experience
- Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress
- Flexibility to work in shifts
