Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Degree in Clinical Medicine/Nursing
  • 3 years’ experience in a health/social science related field
  • Experience in management of Health programmes
  • Strong knowledge of HIV/AIDS programmes
  • Training in project management and HIV management will be an added advantage

  • Computer literate
  • Coaching and mentoring
  • Planning and organising skills
  • Report writing and attention to detail

Key Performance Areas

  • Provide continuous support in implementing ART program activities at facility level in conjunction with PHO
  • Track progress of supported facilities/Management Areas and other partners against setobjectives and targets
  • Document program performance and provide information needed for decision making
  • Identify programmatic performance gaps and provide, document on-site mentoring
  • Oversee the implementation of Differentiated models of care such as Differentiated Models of ART Delivery (DMAD) and Multi-Month Service Delivery (MMSD) in the Province
  • Provide oversight of all the bio-medical prevention activities such as NACS, VMMC, PrEP, TPT and condom distribution
  • Provide technical support and oversight in implementing the DSD Models across the Province
  • Brief and communicate programmatic performance to RTC management in consultation with the EQUIP Provincial Technical and Admin Coordinator.
  • Increase access to and utilization of quality HIV/AIDS service
  • Work closely with the province/District/Project Coordinators and other provincial health coordinators
  • Coordinate the EID, Paediatric and Adolescents Program in the Province
