EARTHMOVING EQUIPMENT OPERATION TRAINER
Job Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for training and conducting assessments while maintaining a place of work that is safe and free from risk to health and to environment with the objective of ensuring that production targets are met.
1. Dump truck operator
2. Dozer operator
3. Grader operator
4. Excavator operator
Key Responsibilities (All positions)
- Training and conducting assessments
- Ensuring that the machine is in good condition for operation
- Ensure proper machine house keeping
- Ensure that risk assessment is done prior to any task and reporting all defects and hazards on equipment that is not working
- Ensuring that he/she adhere to set times for fueling of machines and that all machines do not stop because of fuel
- Ensuring his safety and the safety of the entire work force
Job requirements (All positions)
- BGCSE
- 2 years valid class B driver’s license
- At least 2 years mining experience as an operator
