The Community Centre Coordinator is the hub of all direct implementation with the sponsored children and youths with the primary accountabilities of ensuring quality, focused and timely implementation of all field interventions/goals that the center is expected to deliver.

Supervision Of: Field Officers, Nurses and General Service Assistants

JOB DESCRIPTION
Ensure quality, focused and timely implementation of all field interventions/goals that the center is expected to deliver
Supervise all people, financial and administrative functions for the center
Manage and nurture critical stakeholder engagements (internal and external) that support effective implementation
Be the principal link between the community center team and the Central Office
Strictly observe confidentiality and strong ethics with respect to all beneficiary information/financial and other organizational data
Identify, in consultation with the Agency Director and Key Staff annual work plans, in line with organizational goals, objectives and KPI’s, and drive quality focused and timely implementation of the targeted goals/activities assigned to the community center
Think critically, in collaboration with Key Staff, about programmatic and sponsorship field implementation components (materials, resources, personnel, costs as well as external socio-political challenges), to improve and innovate on quality and efficiency of the interventions being planned and implemented through their community center
Oversee, in collaboration with the MEL coordinator, implementation of effective monitoring and evaluation processes to identify and assess the strengths of existing interventions and identify areas for improvement.
Lead and drive real time reporting of the work on ground to their supervisor including a critical assessment, reflection as well as recommendations for improvements
Ensure that all the program documentation and child files are maintained as per the given guidelines. and submit necessary periodic reports to the Agency Central office on time
Lead the process of developing and submitting realistic and cost-conscious budgets aligned to the annual workplan for the Community Center developed with active engagement and participation of the constituents and the Field Officers.
Ensure that operations permits for the community center are kept current, if applicable. Request their renewal ahead of their expiration.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Experience: 5 years plus
Education Level: Degree
Qualifications: University degree in Business Administration, Social Management and Development, Project Management or other relevant fields. Significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree in certain cases.
Software: MS Office as well as familiarity with inter/intranet, Google Drive, etc.
Equipment: Job related
Skills To: Good verbal and written communication as well as documentation and reporting skills in English (for Asia, Africa and the US, and Spanish for Latin America.
Ability To: Deal effectively with and resolve conflict and confrontation, Actively pursues learning and self-development; seeks feedback; modifies behavior considering the right feedback
Other Requirements: Willingness to travel if needed
