Kaleya Smallholders Company Ltd, popularly known as KASCOL is an Agricultural concern and run as a private limited company with 160 smallholders with a nucleus estate in sugar cane cultivation.
There is an immediate opening for the middle management position and applications are invited from qualified Zambians who fulfil the following criteria.
CLINICAL OFFICER – GENERAL
Requirements:
- A diploma in clinical medicine
- ART Management
- Valid practising licence from HPCZ
- At least 2 years working experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Human Resource Associate
- Screening patients and prescribing appropriate treatment
- Referral of patients for admission, acting as a liaison with referral centres
- Advises management on any development project imperative in enhancing health on the estate
- Managing and monitoring patients
- Maintaining a daily register of patients , record of referrals and ensuring adequate stock levels of drugs are available
- Provide continuous medical education on current trends in medicine
- Develop, implement and maintain safe work procedures and promote high safety and health awareness
- Promote and comply with the company Occupational Health & Safety Policy
- Ensure appropriate facilities, procedures and workforce competence to achieve legal compliance, incident prevention and the achievement of tasks in an environmentally sustainable manner
