REGISTERED NURSING – JANUARY 2021 INTAKE
Defence School of Health Sciences (DSHS) was established in 2006 under the Ministry of Defence to support Government efforts in improving health care delivery through training of hea Ith ca re providers.
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to train as REGISTERED NURSES (Rns).
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Direct Entry RN:
Must possess the following:
- Full Zambian School certificate of education or equivalent with Five (05) O levels at credit or better in English Language, Mathematics, Any Science, plus two other subjects.
- AGE: Minimum of 16 years old.
- Duration: Three (03) years.
Abridging Course RN:
Must possess the following:
- Full Zambian School certificate of education or equivalent with Five (05) O levels at credit or better in English Language, Mathematics, Any Science, plus two other subjects.
- Enrolled Nursing Certificate.
- Registration Certificate and a valid practicing license from General Nursing Council (GNC).
- Introductory letter from the employer.
- Duration: One (01) year.

- Pay non-refundable application fee of K150 for a form at School accounts and obtain a receipt. OR
- Deposit a non-refundable application fee of K150 in the School account.
