JOB DESCRIPTION FOR BARMAN / BARTENDER
REPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager / F&B Manager
Bartender will be responsible to prepare and serve drinks to customers. Able to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance with customers’ needs and expectations. The purpose of this position is to interact with the hotel guests and ensure they have a great experience at the bar, restaurant or lounge.
Bartender should maintain positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. Should have knowledge of coffee and wine service.
Must be able to communicate in English writing and speaking and other languages are advantages. Good personality and Positive interpersonal skills required. Must be a team-player. Must be good in stocktake and accounting for the stock.
Certificate or diploma in Hotel and Catering studies/ Hospitality Management. Computer Knowledge and experience in MS office programs. Mixology & barista training will be an added advantage.
Previous bar-tending experience required in a Mid-scale or Luxury property. Experience in handling Point of sale (POS) terminals and Inventory Management Software.
