Corporate Accountant

Business expansion has led to the need for a Corporate Accountant at our Lusaka office.

I. Title: Corporate Accountant

Location:  Lusaka, Zambia
Contract period:  Permanent
Work Schedule: Full – time
Organizational Relationships: Reports to Managing Director
Supervises: Accounting Officers
Coordinates with: All business units and Directors

II. Statement of responsibilities

Cash management, management accounting, statutory reporting, corporate secretarial, advisory.

III. Essential Functions

Preparing general financial statements and management discussions and analysis
Fiscal management
Budgeting
Statutory compliance

IV. Qualifications

ZICA, ACCA finalist or an undergraduate degree

V. Required

At least four years’ accounting experience, demonstrated project management skills, strong Excel skills, knowledge of Odoo accounting and or an alternate accounting software. Working knowledge of Zambian tax requirements, persuasive communication skills, and working exposure to IFRS are added advantages.
