1. Introduction
ActionAid Zambia (AAZ) is part of the ActionAid Global (AAG) Federation; sharing common values and aims to drive social change towards a just, equitable and sustainable world. AAZ works with marginalized and excluded women and young people, their organizations, and movements to address the structural causes of social injustice, gender inequality and poverty. AAZ Head Office is located at 38G Kabulonga Road, Ibex Hill, Lusaka.
2. Scope of the Assignment
ActionAid Zambia is seeking the following service and supply of goods as follows:
ActionAid Zambia invites potential vendors to express their interest to supply the following:
- 400 pupil desks: 100 Under Lukulu District and 300 under Nalolo District with the following Specifications
I. Thickness of the board 22.5mm
II. Square tubes 30X30 mm
III. The whole timber without joints (where timber joints are unavoidable must be centered and in T&G joint designed and smoothly furnished
IV. Welding to be done on all.

- 20 bunker single steel beds for pupils under Nalolo District with the following specifications.
I. 30*30, 3-6mm angle steer bar
II. Flat bars
III. Mattress supporters must be installed in all the four sides.
3. Criteria of selection
A successful supplier will be based on satisfactory support of our objective in respect of cost, timely, quality and durability of the product.
To be considered, the suppliers are required to submit the following.
1. Company profile (CV) attached with relevant documents.
2. Certificate of registration from PACRA
3. Tax clearance
4. Full contract quotation
5. Work plan

4. Mode of Submission
Submission of the document appropriately bound and enclosed in a sealed envelope should clearly state what you would like to supply us with and indicating the district where you would like to supply to. For example, ‘supply of 20 bunker steel beds- Nalolo District’ shall be done via the designated Tender box located at the following ActionAid Offices, ActionAid Zambia Lukulu Office at Zango Lodge, Mongu ActionAid Office and ActionAid Zambia Lusaka office 38G kabulonga road no later than 8th September 2023 at 17:00hrs.
