The Bank is looking for suitably qualified persons to apply for the following positions:
ADMINISTRATION OFFICER (1)
JOB SUMMARY
The Administration Officer will be responsible for the facilitation of day to day operations of the Administration Unit through timely inspection and repair of all assets such as buildings, vehicles, plant, once equipment, lifts and the effective utilization of office space.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Preventive Maintenance Plans for all the Assets
- Coordinate Corrective Maintenance ofthe Assets
- Preparation of Scope of Works/Bills of Quantities for identified works
- Act as Contract Manager for Maintenance assignments and Contracts
- Preparation of Completion Certificates for works done prior to payment
- Preparation of Monthly Reports for the Unit
- Preparation of Quarterly Report on the Status ofthe Assets
- Initiate Purchase Requisitions for repair works/servicing of Assets
- Follow provisions of Maintenance Schedules as provided for in Maintenance Contracts
- Coordinate the renewal ofall Maintenance Contracts
- Ensure the Buildings, Lifts, Vehicles and operations of the Bank are legally compliant (Fire Certificates & Licenses)
- General Fleet Management; timely allocation of vehicles to requesting User
- Departments, ensuring cleanliness ofvehicles and Drivers
- Development of Vehicle Usage Policy
- Supervision of Guards, Drivers, Cleaners and Messengers
- Ensuring the Cleanliness ofthe Buildings (Ndola and Lusaka)
- Allocating space to Departments and Rented Space plus Rental Management
- Any Other Duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- First Degree in Building Science, Engineering or Equivalent Degree
- Valid Membership of a Relevant Professional Body
- Must possess not less than 5 years experience in managing Asset
- Maintenance/Estate Management in a reputable organisation
Other Attributes or Desirable Skills:
- Must be honest and possess a high level ofintegrity
- Planning and organization skills
- Negotiation skills
- Report writing skills
