We are looking to recruit an Auto Workshop Supervisor to join the team.

An Auto Workshop Supervisor will manage and oversee mechanics, ensuring smooth operations, efficient repairs, and high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Supervision:

Oversee the daily activities of mechanics, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Assign tasks and manage workloads.

Provide guidance and training to mechanics, evaluate on performance and provide feedback.

Work Coordination:

Schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance work.

Ensure the smooth flow of work within the workshop.

Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Quality Control:

Review completed work for quality and accuracy.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Address any issues or problems that arise.

Communication:

Communicate with management regarding repairs and maintenance.

Provide clear and accurate information about costs and timelines.

Resolve vehicle issues and complaints.

Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage parts inventory.

Ensure that parts are readily available when needed.

Order parts as needed.

Safety:

Ensure that the workshop is a safe working environment.

Enforce safety procedures and regulations.

Address any safety concerns or issues.

Other:

May be involved in estimating repair costs, training new mechanics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

May be involved in developing and implementing workshop procedures.

Strong understanding of automotive mechanics and repair processes.

Ability to motivate and supervise a team of mechanics.

Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.

Ability to organize and manage workload effectively.

Experience: Experience of 8-10 years as a mechanic or in a similar role is highly desirable.

Education: Diploma or certificate course in Mechanical or Automotive Eng.

Hours of work: 48 hours minimum with travel when required.
