We are seeking to hire qualified candidate for the position of Front Office Supervisor (1 Position)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
- Register and assign rooms. Accommodates special requests whenever possible.
- Assists in the pre-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
- Understands room status, room tracking and taking down reservations.
- Serving food and beverages.
- Selling of assorted beverages and cash ups.
- Greets incoming Guests, performs the check-in/out process and collect payment.
- Answering all incoming calls at the Lodge and handling guests queries and complaints.
- Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check-out and early check-ins.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Willingness to perform additional duties to facilitate the bar, restaurant and reception’s operations as needed.
- Any other functions as assigned by the manager.
Desired qualifications
- Full grade 12 certificate is a must.
- Diploma in Front Office Operations/Hotel Management.
- Proven experience as a Receptionist/Front desk staff in Hospitality Industry.
- At least 2 years prior experience in the Hotel Industry.
- Experience in Hotel Computer Management Software and bookkeeping is an advantage.
- Need to have knowledge of Bar Tender/Waiter Services with proven supervising skills.
- Good communication skills – both oral and written.
- A high degree of multi-tasking and time management capability.
- High levels of honesty, integrity and objectivity.
