Cashier
Location : Choma/ Southern Province
Reports to : Branch Manager
Minimum Qualification : Diploma/Degree in Accountancy
Job Overview
The Cashier will be based in Choma, Southern Province. The main purpose of the job is to ensure that all accounting documentation are properly filed and kept in safely.
Requirements
1. Ability to reason well and be accountable for his/her duties
2. Good interpersonal skills
3. Attention to detail is a must
4. Full Grade 12 Certificate
5. Minimum of 2 Year work experience in a fast-moving environment
Responsibilities
1. Receiving and recording monies received at the office.
2. Prepare all receipts, payment vouchers and all primary transaction documentation
3. Cash counting and stacking for disbursements and deposits.
4. Banking – depositing all received monies.
5. Ensure on-time banking.
6. Maintain an updated filling system
7. Maintenance of petty cash records and petty cash system.
8. Ensuring that all accounting documentation is properly filed and kept in safely.
9. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
