Allterrain Services Group, Africa’s leading facilities service provider is looking for dynamic and self- motivated Zambian with proven performance to fill the existing vacant positions below:

1. Food and Beverage Manager

PURPOSE: Your Primary operational duty is to ensure that ATS standards of performance with regards to Food & Beverage sales and service are maintained. Develop operational efficiency, cost controls and ensure customer satisfaction in achieved.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Must have a minimum of a diploma in Food and Beverage or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible and accountable this below but is not limited to the following areas:

  • The Project Scope of work – Food and Beverage Manager will oversee the bars and shop performance to the scope of work as defined with the client. Upon arrival on site this will be set and agreed in writing with the Project Manager. The Food and Beverage Manager will be accountable for the Project achieving the specified standards of performance in all areas of the Projects Operations. The projects areas of operation may include, but not limited to:
  • Mess & Food Service management
  • Town Site management including bars, restaurants, club houses and sports facilities
  • Shop Management
  • Camp Set Up and Mobilization Services including Remote Camps
  • Directors Dining and Party Catering

Project Stock Control, Stock Levels, Stock Checking, Stock Variances & Spoilages, and Stock Ordering – the Food and Beverage Manager will oversee all aspects of the projects stock control function including spot checking stock records for accuracy. Spoilages and Variances have to be accounted. ATS Group employees provide assistance with stock and material control, the bulk of the orders are undertaken at group level and supplied to the unit monthly.

2.Stock Controller

PURPOSE: Controlling of ATS stocks with the project as well as undertaking procurement activities

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Must have at least 4 Years work experience a Diploma in materials or purchasing and Supply is added advantage
  • Must have initiative and have good interpersonal skills.
  • Should be able to interact with personnel from other departments and the clients.
  • Be physically fit and be able to pass pre-employment and medical examinations.
  • Must have Good written and oral communication skills in English language.
  • Ability to listen and learn skills required in performing bar service duties.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The specific duties of the stock controller will be as set out below but not limited to:

  • Be responsible for the implementation of the materials handling procedures within the company. This includes CUFAB, Mats 1 -9.
  • Train and be responsible for Controlling all operations of the supply chain
  • Train and be directly responsible and accountable for all sourcing and supply of materials.
  • Be responsible for establishing favorable supply contracts with approved suppliers after gaining approval from the Country Manager/Project Manager
  • Formulate and present to management all recurrent procurement budgets for the financial periods.
  • Ensure all costs – food/cleaning & service budgets & targets are maintained within the acceptable range within the project
  • You will coordinate the movement of goods from the supplier until they arrive at the intended destination within ATS operations.
  • You will ensure proper storage of goods supplied. This must meet ATS and client Health and Safety requirements.
  • You will maintain a work-in-process inventory. All work-in-process should be traceable. Recall procedures for sub-standard goods must be established and enforced.
  • Training – you will be responsible for establishing and implementing a training program for your subordinates. Records of training must be kept and will be inspected by the HR Manager/Country Manager periodically.
  • The stock controller is responsible for ATS public relations with all suppliers of goods and services.

3.Store Supervisor

PURPOSE: You will report directly to the Project Manager/Materials Manger who are in charge of Materials control, you will be responsible for making sure that all company materials are safe guard and taken good care of, and you will be involved in providing information on stocking levels in the project as well as undertaking procurement activities

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Must have a minimum of a certificate in Purchasing and Supply with some practical experience working in the stores or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered
  • Have knowledge of ordering, receiving, storing and issuing procedures
  • Creative, self motivated, proactive and confident
  • Creative with ideas in stock controls
  • Able to work with other staff from other Departments, as well as the clients
  • Knowledge of food cost control principles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Be physically fit and be able to pass pre-employment and medical examinations
  • Ability to listen and learn skills required in performing storekeeping duties

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for monitoring stock ordering, checking stock levels and anticipating client needs by way of forecasting which should be discussed with the project manager
  • Responsible to keep reporting and daily data input up to date. Ensuring that costing is available to the project manager at 10 am every day
  • Responsible for keeping MATS 1-10 files up to date and presenting it to project manager daily for checking and signing off.
  • Responsible for sending weekly reports to project manager and head office.
  • Responsible for communicating between materials department and F&B heads of departments as well as project manager on issues concerning stock and daily operations
  • Ensure that the stores are kept neat and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure that the Operation is well stocked with the required items at all times.
  • Ensure that all stores are packed according to ISO principles.
  • Ensure that daily sales accounts are balanced and presented to the Project Manager at the end of each shift.
  • You must follow all company procedures regarding ordering, receiving, storing and issuing.
  • You will wear your PPE & uniforms at all times.
  • To be pro –active in all aspects of operational safety and encourage teamwork within the department.
