Job Purpose / Main accountabilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Grow total revenue through acquisition of new EDP Beneficiary Enterprises (BE)

  • Sourcing and signing up new projects including recruitment and placement of experts in Beneficiary Enterprises as per EDP project budget.

2. BE Client Invoicing, Customer statements and Fees collection

  • Work closely with Finance Officer AMSCO Zambia to ensure Invoices and statements are sent to clients regularly.
  • Support the collection of management fees.

3. EDP Project Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Baseline data collection for all EDP Projects
  • Training Needs Assessment for all projects in collaboration with AMSCO Account Manager Training and Development
  • Periodical project report collection (Quarterly and Annual
  • Data entry into MIS – ERP
  • Managing Succession Planning on all projects

4. Management of Work Permits

  • Oversee the Operations officer in management of the work permits process for Technical Experts

5. Contracts Management

  • Oversee the Operations officer in management of the contracts process for Technical Experts

6. Stakeholder Management

  • Liaison with stakeholders (Ministry of Finance, Participating Ministries, Department of Immigration,
  • Organising stakeholder project visits as per project requirements

7. People Management 

  • Oversee all staff under the EDP Project in support to the Country Managing Director Zambia
  • Support capacity development of EDP team by identifying opportunities for development

8. Finance and Administration

  • Management of salary payments and salary slip distribution. Specific goal set for individual: Ensure all managers in your portfolio are paid on time and salary slips distributed to them each month.
  • Align EDP operations with AMSCO’s processes and systems.
  • Manage, develop, inspire and enable EDP project staff to deliver high quality results.
  • Timely project reporting.
