Mukuba Pension Trust wishes to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced person to fill the following vacant position: ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT TREASURY
Job Purpose
To make payments in accordance with the Trust set standard and procedures, maintain and reconciliation of books.
Duties and responsibilities
- Conducts reconciliation of the daily cash flow to ensure that all payments, bank deposits and withdrawals are accounted for.
- Maintains petty cash in order to facilitate business transactions requiring immediate cash.
- Makes advance payments and ensures that they are retired as per laid down procedures.
- Making payments and issuing receipts
- Compiling monthly reports.
- Performs any other duties deemed necessary by the Supervisor
Qualifications and Experience
- ZICA Licentiate/ Diploma in Accounts/ CIMA Managerial
- Good knowledge on Sage Pastel and Excel
- 2 years experience in a similar position
- Personal attributes should include integrity and reliability
- Must be astute, versatile, self-driven and well-motivated
- Drivers License is an added advantage
