General Manager – Lifts

Join a leading Engineering and construction Division- Lifts department, we’re expanding and seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our department. Lead all aspects of the Lifts department, driving growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage installation, maintenance, and repair of lifts and escalators.
  • Supervise and coordinate lift technicians.
  • Conduct routine inspections and safety checks.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and ensure timely repairs.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Provide training and support to technicians.
  • Collaborate with clients and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Manage budget, inventory, and procurement.
  • Prepare and manage tenders for projects and contracts.


  • Extensive experience with lifts, with managerial experience; Diploma or Degree in relevant field is added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of lift systems.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools and reading technical manuals.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Preparing and managing tenders added advantage.
