Do you have a passion for design? Would you like to be involved in helping clients make decisions and selections for high end kitchens, baths and other interior projects? If so, we would like to talk with you. BAUS Design is currently seeking an enthusiastic designer to join our Corporate team. This team designs and continues to stay involved with projects from a conceptual phase all the way through to completion of construction.
We are seeking candidates who have:
A degree in Interior Design
Proficiency in Sketchup and 2D CAD applications
A talent for selecting materials and color palettes
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to effectively communicate
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a personal schedule to prioritize work on multiple residential remodeling projects from concept through completion
Work with clients, vendors, and fellow team members to effectively select, price, and order materials and finishes for projects
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3-4 years experience in design, preferably in Residential Design
Degree in Interior Design
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
A keen interest in the Design/Build environment and the dedication to see projects through to their conclusion
Strong technical knowledge, including CAD and other design software
Experience in residential kitchen and bath design preferably using a Design/Build Process
Demonstrated ability to create relationships with clients
Organizational, time management and planning skills, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks
Excellent problem-solving ability
Strong team and customer service orientation
