PREQUALIFICATION AND VENDOR REGISTRATION FOR THE YEAR 2025 – 2026

Beit Cure Children’s Hospital

Founded in 2006, Beit CURE Children’s Hospital (BCH) is a faith-based, specialised health institution dedicated to providing Christ-centered care to children with disabilities and their families. BCH is renowned for its specialized services in Pediatric Orthopedics, Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) and Audiology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as the provision of Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Beyond healthcare delivery, BCH actively contributes to national healthcare
objectives by building capacity in the area of its specialization. Over the years, BCH has made significant contributions to the development of ENT and Audiology services across the country, complementing government initiatives.

Invitation to Pre-qualify

The Hospital is thereby inviting reputable and qualified vendors to pre-qualify and register for the supply of various medical and non-medical goods and services. This pre-qualification process aims to establish a reliable supplier base that can meet our organization’s diverse procurement needs efficiently and effectively.The selected suppliers will participate in future tenders and requests for quotations for the supply and delivery of the following categories:

1. Medical Supplies and Equipment

  • BCH01-25 Delivery and Supply of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Consumables, Medical Devices and equipment
  • BCH02-25 Supply and delivery of Laboratory Supplies, Kits and Reagents
  • BCH03 – 25 Supply and delivery of Anaesthetic gases ( Medical oxygen, Medical Air and Nitrous Oxide – Medical Grade)

2. Non-Medical Equipment

  • BCH04-25 Supply and delivery of Office Supplies, Stationery, Office Chairs
  • BCH05-25 Supply and delivery of Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment FFE
  • BCH06-25 Supply and delivery of cleaning products, Servicing and maintenance of laundry equipment
  • BCH07-25 Supply and delivery of Kitchen utensils and kitchenware, Perishable foods(fresh farm produce) dry foods poultry and poultry products, beverages, soft drinks bakery and Pastry products
  • BCH08-24 Supply and delivery of IT Equipment and Software
  • BCH09-24 Supply and delivery of Printing and Publishing Services – Branding and signage works
  • BCH10-25 Supply and delivery of Events services – Hire of venues, tables, chairs tents and décor
  • BCH11-25 Supply and delivery Pest control, fumigation, sewerage, soakaway and waste disposal management services
  • BCH12-25 Supply and delivery of PPE – work suits, Gloves, helmets, face shields, safety shoes, and gumboots
  • BCH13-25 Supply and delivery of Steel, Hardware, Plumbing, Electrical and Electronic Services
  • BCH14-25 Supply and Delivery of maintenance of solar equipment
  • BCH15-25 Supply and delivery of air-conditioning and refrigeration works.
  • BCH16-25 Construction of buildings, renovation and repair
  • BCH17-25 Supply and delivery of transportation Services – car hire, repair, maintenance and servicing of motor vehicles
  • BCH18-25 Supply of service for translation of local languages Chichewa, Nyanja, Tonga, Lozi, Luvale, Kikaode
  • BCH19-25 Supply of curtains, and Fabric materials
  • BCH20-25 Supply and delivery of Hospitality Services
  • BCH21-25 Supply and delivery of Wood and wood products

Brief Contractual Guidelines / Payment Terms

All agreed-upon unit or cumulative pricing, as well as the necessary quantities, are subject to potential fluctuations.

Payments shall be on credit for 14 – 30 days as may be stipulated in the contract agreement.

Qualification

Prospective bidders will not be considered qualified unless, in the judgement of the evaluation committee, they meet the below criterion and possess the capability, experience, qualified personnel available, suitability of the equipment and net current assets or working capital sufficient to satisfactorily execute the contract for goods/services

Pre-Qualification Criteria

All prospective suppliers and service providers seeking pre-qualification must submit the required attached questionnaires.

Application forms which are filled in completely and submitted in the prescribed
manner will not be considered.

Experience/Past Performance

Prospective suppliers must demonstrate a proven track record of successfully
delivering similar items /services to organisations of comparable size, complexity and operational requirements.
Past performance will be given due consideration in the pre-qualification of suppliers, and status cross-checked from referenced customers.

Technical Expertise

Suppliers must possess the necessary legal, professional and technical expertise, infrastructure, and resources to fulfill the requirements of the supplies and services.
Adherence to quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001 or
equivalent is a must. Ethical Conduct must be maintained to a high standard and
comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
All prospective suppliers must have a fixed business premise registered with relevant National legislative bodies.

Financial Condition

The financial standing of a prospective vendor will be assessed based on the most recent financial statements provided alongside pre-qualification documentation, in conjunction with reference letters from their banking institution concerning their creditworthiness.
Particular attention will be given to the availability of resources earmarked for operational activities.

Supply and Delivery Method

Qualified suppliers are required to submit a detailed delivery plan outlining their proposed logistics and transportation processes.

Pre-qualification Documents

Interested suppliers must submit the following documents:

  • Company Profile and Registration Certificate
  • Tax Clearance Certificate
  • Audited Financial Statements for the past 2 years
  • Detailed Company Profile, including organizational structure, experience, and key personnel
  • A valid business permit
  • List of major clients and projects undertaken
  • Quality Management System Certification (where applicable)
  • Any other relevant documentation supporting the vendor’s capabilities.
