MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS/ MECHANICS
Job purpose
- Responsible for repairs on all aspects of the vehicles. Repairs will include but not be limited to: preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, driveline, steering & suspension, electrical trouble-shooting and AC.
- Perform vehicle and facility maintenance related duties as assigned in a safe and timely manner
- Arranges for and obtains appropriate inspections and approval of all repairs before vehicle is released from maintenance facility.
- Performs road calls and on the road repairs as assigned. Test-drives vehicles to ensure problem resolution.
- Ensures proper work methods and techniques and ensure compliance with all local regulations, requirements, standards and specifications and company policies.
- Ensures the maintenance of a clean, safe, effective and efficient work environment including identifying and making recommendations to resolve unsafe maintenance conditions or practices.
- Maintains work, time and material and equipment maintenance logs and records for self.
- Prepares, completes and submits paperwork on time and correctly on vehicle maintenance.
- Under direct supervision of maintenance lead, optimizes maintenance cycle time and ensuring that the shop meets or exceeds customer requirements.
- Records local maintenance work orders or job cards and local parts
Requirements
- Diploma or advanced technician certificate in Heavy Equipment Repairs.
- At least 3 years’ experience in repair and maintenance of commercial buses or trucks.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of Shop Management systems.
- Knowledge of and experience using diagnostic technology and related software to access technical information and enter data.
- General knowledge of vehicle components, practices, techniques, procedures, materials and appropriate use and maintenance of special tools and electronic test equipment commonly used in the diagnosis, repair, preventative maintenance and modification of vehicle maintenance to prescribe procedures, methods and materials to assigned staff on complex repairs/projects.
- Knowledge of Zhong Tong and or Scania Buses will be an advantage.
HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER
Job purpose
- Carry out Human resource functions in accordance with the Company’s expectation and ensure legal compliance.
- Policies and procedures with the view of acquiring and retaining quality employees
- Implementation of All Human Resource policies and procedures.
- Handling disciplinary cases and grievances
- Provision of timely and sound advise to line managers and employees through correct interpretation of labour laws
- Employee recruitment
- Administer Performance appraisals
- Maintenance and regular updates of employee Records.
- Leave Tracking.
- Payroll Administration
- Identify training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Human Resources Management or related field.
- 3 years experience as HR officer
- Sound knowledge of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Should be a member of Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management ( ZIHRM) with a valid practicing license
COACH DRIVER
Requirements
- Clean and valid class PSV License
- PG license
- Minimum 3 years experience
- 25 years and above
TRUCK DRIVERS
Requirements
- Clean and valid G license
- Clean and valid D license
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Mechanical know – how is an added advantage
HOSTS
Requirements
- Grade 12 School Certificate
- 25 years and above
- Good customer relations
