As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.

About the role:

As an Accountant at Biliam Works Limited, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the company’s day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring the integrity of financial data.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets on a regular basis to monitor the company’s financial performance.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and annual budgets.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process and address any audit findings or recommendations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements.
  • Provide guidance and support to other departments regarding financial matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working as an Accountant, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive financial information
