Account Manager

BGS is seeking a proactive Account Manager to manage and grow strategic client accounts in North Western and Lusaka.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to sell and /upsell or cross-sell ICT products a and services based on client needs and business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.
  • Lead onboarding processes and ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation, providing continued support throughout the client lifecycle.
  •   Provide clients with regular reports, performance reviews, and feedback sessions to align expectations and improve service delivery.
  • Keep clients informed about industry trends, new BGS innovations, and competitive intelligence that can impact their business.

Desired Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  •   Minimum of 3–5 years in account management, client service, or business development in a technology or digital services company.
  • Understanding of IT solutions, software development, or digital platforms; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; adept at managing expectations and building trust.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a problem-solving approach.
