Qualifications & Experience

  • LL.B (Bachelor’s Degree in Law) from a recognized university.
  • LL.M (Master’s Degree in Law) or a related field is an added advantage.
  • Certification in Conveyancing or Legal Compliance is preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in property law, real estate compliance, and legal advisory.
  • Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal guidance on property transactions, contracts, and leasing agreements.
  • Conveyancing: Oversee legal compliance in property transfers and manage documentation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local real estate laws and regulations.
  • Risk Management: Conduct due diligence and mitigate legal risks in property dealings.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the legal and compliance team.
  • Client Relations: Represent the company in negotiations and legal discussions.
  • Policy Development: Draft internal policies and conduct staff training on legal compliance.

  • In-depth knowledge of Zambian property law and regulatory frameworks.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and leadership qualities.
