Job description:

Overall Job Purpose

The position is responsible for evaluating and analysing site systems to identify gaps between capability and requirements. Additionally, the individual in this role is expected to develop roadmaps which maximise the utilisation and inter-operability of existing systems while identifying new systems to be acquired and integrated to address shortfalls.

Specific Job Responsibility

Examine current and new business procedures.
Identify effective solutions for business software system issues.
Report common patterns, questions, and other issues to management.
Recommend solutions for improving and restructuring company procedures.
Monitor company systems status and report any progress or changes.
Research and estimate the costs of upgrades and improvements.
Work with the user to understand business objectives
Works alongside the project manager /solution architect to manage the requirements backlog
Works with the users to discover and document their requirements for data solutions (functional and non-functional)
Supports user acceptance testing
Responsible for managing the requirements lifecycle and traceability
Supports the tester in the preparation of test cases and scripts
Ensures that the definition is done, agreed and documented.
Responsible for integrating or ensuring the inter-operability of existing/ incumbent systems

​Experience & Qualifications

3 years minimum experience in business analysis role
5 years’ experience in a business analysis role
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or field relevant to the mining/ mineral processing domain.
Qualifications supporting ability to do requirements lifecycle management
