Background
Care Cooperative Savings and Credit Society Ltd (hereinafter called “Care Coop”) was established in 1995 under the guidance of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. It started off as a small Cooperative through contributions from employees from Care International, Plan International and Purse Holdings Ltd with an initial membership of 50. Currently, Care Coop has about 3,000 members drawn from various Non-Governmental Organizations and General members across the Country.
About the Engagement
We are in the initial stages to develop a model for the Cooperative in alignment to meet the reporting requirement with International Financial Reporting Standard No. 9 – Financial Instruments. We are looking for a firm or individuals to submit proposals on developing the model on financial instruments. The proposal should address the following;
(1) Time frame to fully develop and implement the model in compliance with reporting requirements of IFRS 9 – Financial Instruments
(2) Experience of having developed and implemented the model with other similar financial institutions
(3) The cost of developing the model and facilitating the implementation of the same
(4) Qualification of the team leader and other members of the team
