Carlcare Service Limited was established in Hong Kong in 2009 with an aim to provide professional service support to mobile phones and other electronic consumer products, and over the years has become a leading service brand for consumer electronics in South East Asia, Middle East and Africa. Currently, Carlcare is providing full-service support for TECNO, Itel & Infinix three worldwide famous mobile phone brands. Therefore, Carlcare Service Limited wishes to invite fresh graduate candidates to fill the position of Failure Analysis Technician to be based in Lusaka.

Below are the requirements and duties that will be required from the candidate;

Job Description

A failure analysis engineer is responsible for analyzing and determining the root cause of product or equipment failures. Below are the responsibilities and requirements successful candidates will possess.


  • Conduct detailed failure analysis investigations on products or equipment.
  • Develop and implement plans for addressing root causes of failures.
  • Create reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve failure trends.
  • Perform risk assessments to prevent future failures.
  • Work with suppliers to improve product or equipment quality.


  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with phone repair techniques. Simple repair techniques in mobile phone included.
  • Understanding of PCBA/mobile phone analysis repairs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with quality control and/or manufacturing processes is a plus.
