The organization has three Community Centres in Chibolya, Kanyama and George
SCOPE OF WORKS
The Quantity Surveyor consultant will be required from time to time to professionally preside over the organization’s construction activities and provide the following services:
i. Site visit/Inspections
ii. Prepare preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
iii. Manage site visits with contractors and provide necessary guidance and clarifications.
iv. Inspection of ongoing works to ensure quality and adherence to building standards, and
v. Certification of works and manage the site handover process.
QUALIFICATIONS
The consultant must be qualified to provide the required service and duly registered with the Zambia Institute of Quantity Surveyors. The Consultant must have a minimum of 5 years’ industrial experience.
PAYMENT TERMS
The bidder is required to include a schedule showing their proposed billing or fee structure for any assignment undertaken.
CONTRACT PERIOD
The contract will be for an initial period of two (2) years.
REFERENCE OF SIMILAR ASSIGNMENTS
The Consultant is required to submit at least three references comprised of clients where they have rendered a similar service within the last three (3) years.
