CHOMA DISTRICT WOMENS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION
Choma District Women Development Association (DWA) is a non-governmental organization registered under the societies Act on 2nd May, 2000.
The organization aims at improving the standards of living for vulnerable and marginalized groups in society (women, girls disabled and youths) to constitute a legal frame work for the promotion of women groups economically, socially, Culturally and Politically. Choma DWDA is sending an Invitation to submit proposals from reputable Contractors for the construction of Warehouses in Choma District.
SPECIFICATIONS
The specifications for the warehouses are as per attached drawings:
1. The selection criteria will be Technical and Financial
I. TECHNICAL CRITERIA (Minimum requirement) will be carried out based on the following:
a. Experience – contractors shall attach previous works performance letters from NGOs, Government Departments and Other Organisation in similar type of work.
b. Valid Accreditation to relevant governing government institutions for the company and its proposed employees.
c. Technical proposal with work schedule and timelines for carrying out works.
II. FINANCIAL CRITERIA will be carried out based on Bidder’s Liquidity to run the contract.
BIDDING PROCEDURES AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPOSALS
Eligibility
1. Contractors shall be domiciled and licensed to do such jobs in Zambia as specified in the tender and shall furnish a copy of its valid license, Grade 6B or 5B are acceptable for the current fiscal Zambian year. The Bidder shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt or fraudulent practices.
2. Contractors shall have among proposed staff for this assignment, personnel registered with valid relevant membership to governing bodies

Prospective contractors are required to submit the following:
- Company Profile
• - Registration from relevant institutions, Certificate from Pacra, ZRA, NCC, EIZ ZIA
- Evidence of similar past or completed works in the last three years.
- Tax Clearance Certificates
- Financial Statement for the past three months
- Technical Proposal of proposed works including timelines
- Qualifications for Key Personnel
- A Clear Work Schedule
- List of Equipment that will be mobilized.

Preparation of the contractors
- It is essential that the prospective Contractors are familiar with the general area where the WORKS.

Award of Contract - Only vendors who submit all requested mandatory legal and technical documents will pass from the technical and preliminary stage to submission of financial offer.
