POSITION: MAINTENANCE PLANNER (1 POSITION) – ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Maintenance Planner. The position reports to the Workshop Manager and operates within the Farm area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Maintenance Planning and should be efficient in managing daily work planning and scheduling from planned and preventive maintenance.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Manage daily work plaining and scheduling for planned and preventive maintenance.
- Forecast areas of prevention for facilities to standards.
- Analyze maintenance repairs and failures to standards.
- Keep records on estate facilities with technical manuals, risk audit and statutory items.
- As system administrator on Maximo software and database, maintain data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
- Coordinate sectional planning meetings.
- Report on daily feedback activities on maintenance and project performance
- Provide advice and support of maintenance and project performance.
- Provide inspection checklists for work executed and quality checks for completed works.
- Sign off and administer the contractors works and evaluations.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Maintain all Country and Group SHERQ standards in the execution of maintenance Planning activities.
- Keep current with industry standards and best practices, thus providing current and effective recognized solutions.
- Promote and adhere to Illovo s procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitations and those relating to SHEQ, Completion Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).Analytical ability; attention to detail.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma in Mechanical Electrical or Civil Engineering
- Zambian with Green National Registration Card
- Member of Zambia Institute of Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role with a proven track record.
- Good Verbal Written Communication Skills
