Copper Rose Zambia (CRZ) is the largest youth-led organization working towards the    empowerment of youth and women in Zambia. Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of women and youth through education and empowerment so that they may exhibit autonomy in order to reach their full potential and be effective leaders and agents of change in their communities. We envision a world in which every woman and young person is happy, healthy and living to their full potential. Our main thematic areas of work are 1) Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), 2) Menstrual Health Management (MHM), 3) Economic Empowerment and 4) Leadership and Mentorship.

Description:

Copper Rose Zambia (CRZ) is running a Youth Hub in Ibex Lusaka which aims to equip 2,500 youths with knowledge and skills that enhance their abilities to live productive and purposeful lives. To achieve this goal CRZ is seeking to recruit dynamic, creative, highly motivated, and engaging individuals with excellent communication skills as Youth hub volunteers.  Youth hub volunteers will have the opportunity to work and be part of the Youth hub team and will be able to make meaningful contributions to our programs and activities. Volunteers will also be able to develop skills while adding critical knowledge needed for personal and career development.

Responsibilities:

• Support in coordinating and ensuring that the CRZ youth hub is running smoothly
• Contribute to the planning, coordinating and implementation of all the hub activities.
• Host virtual Youth Hub sessions
• Leading youth hub outreach sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements include:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Must possess initiative and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Be able to make presentations to small and large groups.
• Knowledge or interest in sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
• Must be between 18 and 30 years of age.
• Experience and/or interest in community/youth programming.
• Experience working with young people from diverse backgrounds.
