Kitchen Assistant

CRAVE N' BITE RESTAURANT & TAKEAWAY

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist chef and Kitchen staff in various food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, marinating etc.
  • Assist in preparation of basic dishes
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
  • Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and notify chef when items need restocking
  • Follow health and safety guidelines in food handling and sanitation

Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Certificate in food production or related field is an added advantage
  • Must be physically fit
  • Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a team
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
