Our client, in a retail industry on the Copperbelt seeks to recruit a Transport Officer. The ideal candidate will ensure the appropriate use of vehicles and that the driver follow the regulations of the Company .
REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reporting To: Director
Supervision Of: Driver
Interacts With: Procurement and Sales Team
JOB DESCRIPTION
Scheduling & booking of vehicles to ensure efficient use
Keeping transportation operations within budget
ensure appropriate use of vehicles
Maintenance & repairs of all vehicles & trailers & generator
Keep vehicle documents current
Ensure all vehicles are clean inside & outside
Weekly & monthly reports for the directors
Able to drive
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Starting: 1 Aug
Experience: 2 years plus
Education Level: Certificate Level
Qualifications: Basic Mechanics
Software: MS Office
Equipment: Work related
Knowledge Of: Vehicles and spare parts
Skills To: Write reports
Ability To: Learn from others
