SENIOR OFFICER – INTEGRITY AND ETHICS

To supervise and undertake formulation, implementation and review of integrity and ethics programmes in order to ensure adherence to institutional core values and facilitate corruption prevention.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Action Plan – Supervises and undertakes effectively the implementation, co-ordination and monitoring of the Authority’s Annual Corruption Prevention Action Plan in order to ensure compliance.
Reports – Supervises and undertakes effectively production and circulation of reports on the Authority’s integrity and ethics activities to internal and external stakeholders in order to facilitate accountability
Awareness Creation – Supervises and undertakes effectively the development of awareness programmes on institutional core values and Corruption prevention in order to facilitate approval by the Committee
Gift Policy – Supervises and undertakes effectively implementation of the gift policy in order to facilitate accountability
Secretariat – Supervises and undertakes effectively the provision of secretariat services to the institutional integrity committees in order to facilitate smooth operations
Performance Management – Supervises effectively the development of work plans and implementation of performance management system in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance.
Supervision – Supervises effectively the human and other resources in order to facilitate attainment of the objectives
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Experience: 6 years plus
Education Level: Degree
Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science
Software: Computer literate
Knowledge Of: Formulation, implementation and review of integrity and ethics programmes
Skills To: Interpersonal, Emotional Intelligence, Confidentiality, Integrity, Analytical
Ability To: Write comprehensive reports; communicate effectively in English and make technical and operational decisions
