DIRECTOR FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION (X1) HEAD OFFICE
JOB PURPOSE:
To formulate, develop, direct and implement appropriate financial management information, human resource and Administration procedures that will enable the company to effectively manage its financial resources, operational and developmental plans as well as evaluate its financial and Performance Management Systems performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ FUNCTIONS
- Formulate and develop sound financial/ Human Resource policies, systems and procedures for effective utilization of the Company funds.
- Ensure preparations of budget and presents to the Board for approval before the beginning of the following Financial year
- Establish and maintain industrial relations policies and tools, which will ensure a harmonious working environment
- Ensure administration of the performance management systems for efficient management and development of Human resources in the department
- Implement sound manpower training and development and planning systems
- Ensures preparation of financial statements including board papers, highlighting financial performance of the company, advising the Managing Director and the Board on all financial matters and attend Board meetings etc.
- Maintains a positive financial status ofthe company at all times. To sustain the operational plans of the company to enable the company meet its business objectives
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- Degree in Accounting or ACCA or CIMA or CA
- Master degree in Finance with HR or PA qualifications
- Fellow of ZICA
- MBA as an added advantage
- Minimum of 10 years industrial experience ofwhich 3 years should beat Senior Management Level
- Depth of knowledge to manage and direct the following areas: Finance, Taxation , Audit, Risk management and local business regulations
- Should have a valid driver’s license
