The Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation is a Statutory Body established under Chapter 154 of the laws of Zambia to provide public service broadcasting in Zambia.

The Corporation is now seeking a highly talented, self-motivated and creative individual to fill the positionof DIRECTOR MARKETING AND SALES
Job Purpose
- To formulate and implement marketing and sales policies, procedures, strategies and programs that enhance
- Revenue generation and financial viability of the Corporation. The incumbent will also provide the overall supervision and leadership for the Marketing and Sales Directorate.
Statement of Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and create new marketing and sales strategies aimed at improving Revenues
- Market the Services and products of the Corporation to potential clients and audience
- Create and be involved in a wide range of activities in order to market the Corporation services and products
- Develop, plan strategies to increase brand awareness and loyalty ,
- Develop and implement other income generating schemes for the Corporation
- Provide key support to the work of
- Contract and monitor the performance of Sales Agents and other
- Corporate Agents for marketing and Sales
- Maintain contact databases for ZNBC clients , commission market
- Research, corporate and public sector in sales, promotions , events and publicity
- Offer insight to the Corporation about audiences, clients , commercial trends so that the Corporation activities meet client expectation
- Prepare the Directorate and Corporation Market and Sales budget to support Corporation activities
- Monitor and initiate interventions in the operation and performance of the Corporation Marketing and Sales Revenue for decision making
- Prepare and Present quarterly marketing and sales reports to the Senior
- Management and relevant subcommittee of the Board
- Supervise, motivate and develop the capacity of marketing and sales teams and ensure that the Corporation business is conducted with sound business ethics, media law, regulations and Industry practice and codes
Minimum Qualification and Experience
(i) Grade 12 School Certificate with minimum 5 “O” levels credit in English and Mathematics First Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Discipline
OR
Advanced Chartered Institute of Marketing (C 1M) Qualification
(iii) Master’s Degree in a relevant field is an added advantage
(iv) Post qualifying experience of Ten (I O) years, Five (5) of which should be at Senior Management Level in a reputable Organization
(v) Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing
Personal Competences & Skills Set
- Creative Thinking and able to generate original ideas
- Strong Managerial and leadership skills
- Knowledge of Radio and Television Market
- Strong knowledge of Digital communication and Marketing
- Computer literate and proficiency in figures, statistical presentations such as graphs
- Strong knowledge of Marketing, Communications , build and manage brands
- High personal integrity
