DEBT RECOVERY OFFICER
A reputable and fast-growing Micro Finance Institution is looking to employ a Debt Recovery officer to run its Debt Recoveries Department
MAIN DUTIES
Handle customer concerns relating to their account status
Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debt
Update account status and database regularly
Give regular updates on defaulting customers
Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
Enforce payoff deadlines or payment plans
Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments
Be part of the disbursement process and ensure adherence to stipulated procedures
Ensure collections are made on time by giving reminders to customers whose facilities are falling due
REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS
Proven experience as debt collector in the Financial Services Industry
Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
Knowledge of applicable legal requirements.
Diploma in Business Course
Must have a drivers license
