Qualifications in Agriculture from NRDC OR any recognized university
- Not less than 3 years professional experience in a similar position
- Proficient and excellent understanding of filed such as
- Farming various crops
- Animal husbandry
- Poultry
- Fish farming
- Excellent problems – solving, analytical and critical thinking skill
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work extra hours as required
Job responsibilities
- Understanding practical activities like feeding and /or preparing pasture for livestocks, fish and pig.
- Monitor animals’ health and welfare, including liaising and vets.
- Having knowledge of pests/diseases and understanding how they spread and as well as how to treat them
- Transformation the farm into a profitable venture
- Reasonable for keeping workers on task and ensuring alI activities are properly done.
