RESPONSIBILITIES
- Staffing – contribute to the recruitment & selection process – conduct interviews, create job postings and determine where to advertise open positions
- Reporting – compile assigned monthly reports and ensure submission is within predetermined deadlines
- Statutory adherence – responsible for the prompt submission of statutory schedules
- Contracts administration – ensure timely issuance of all employment contracts
- Medicals – manage all requirements of medical insurance scheme
- Induction – ensure employees are comprehensively inducted and due process is followed
- Employee Development – identification of skill development requirements. Drive an effective agenda that impacts employees and the business
- Safety – ensure compliance of occupational safety policies and procedures
- Performance management – aid in the annual appraisal process
- Team development – nurture and develop a motivated HR team to meet business requirements
- General administration – maintain an updated repository of JD’s for all roles along with measurable indicators & maintain employee records & files for ease of reference
- Payroll processing
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Degree / advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management
- Minimum 2 years working experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer focus and responsiveness
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
