Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure on-time and safe delivery of goods according to planned routes and schedules.
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy and in excellent condition.
- Strictly adhere to Zambian road safety regulations and company policies.
- Complete all required documentation, including logbooks, delivery receipts, and trip reports.
- Maintain clear communication with the dispatch team and clients to address delays or issues.
- Uphold high safety standards, professionalism, and customer service throughout all operations.
Requirements:
- Valid Zambian CE driver’s license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience driving trucks.
- Strong knowledge of Zambian and regional road safety laws and regulations.
- Physically fit and capable of handling long-distance driving.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or accidents in the past 3 years.
- Police clearance report.
