Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Collection and Processing:
Gather, clean, and preprocess data from various sources.
Ensure data quality and integrity by identifying and addressing discrepancies.
2. Data Analysis:
Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
Develop and implement algorithms and models to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
3. Reporting and Visualization:
Create visually compelling and easy-to-understand reports and dashboards.
Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
4. Business Intelligence:
Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand business requirements.
Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes.
5. Predictive Modeling:
Build predictive models to forecast trends and outcomes.
Evaluate model performance and make recommendations for improvement.
6. Data Governance:
Implement and adhere to data governance best practices.
Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
7. Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis.
Propose and implement improvements to existing processes and methodologies.
8. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is desirable.
- Understanding of database management systems and data warehousing concepts.
- Work experience in telecoms with CVM experience is an added advantage
