Farmfeed Limited is seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Security Guard. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, customers, and assets.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor the premises to ensure the safety and security of all employees and visitors.
- Control access to the building, checking identification of those who enter and exit, and verifying that visitors have a valid reason for being on the premises.
- Respond to emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, and security breaches.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and report any safety hazards or security vulnerabilities.
- Provide excellent customer service to all employees and visitors, answering questions and providing assistance as needed.
- Monitor and respond to security alarms and surveillance systems.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure that employees and visitors follow safety procedures as well.
- Complete detailed reports and documentation of any incidents or accidents that occur on the property.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Previous experience as a security guard or in a similar role.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert and vigilant at all times.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
